Analog Test Mux T he Analog Test Mux provides access to various internal signals for use in characterization, debug and production trim and test . The Analog Test Mux buffers or, if the signal is a current, routes these signals to the ATEST pin. When an i mpedance m easurement or s ampling is enabled the Analog Test Mux buffer is also enabled to provide this output to the ATEST pin. 4.4.7. Serial Peripheral Interface The ASIC SPI interface is an industry - standard SPI Slave. It provides 1MHz serial communication access to th e ASIC from the MCU SPI Master. The interface includes four I/Os: Serial Clock [ SCK ], Chip Select complement [ CSN ], Slave - Input [ SI ], and Slave - Output [ SO supports burst reads and writes by which the MCU can write a read/write instruction and a starting address, and then read or write multiple successive data words for a range of addresses. The detailed sequences and timing for the SPI read and write procedures are documented in section s 4.4. 7 .1 and 4.4. 7 .2. SPI p arameter upda tes for a STIM channel shall occur during its Dead Zone 1 (DZ1) time . The steps for the update are as follows:

It is incumbent on the user to only write the parameter updates while DZ1 is occurring, thus a priori knowledge of the DZ1 time is required to limit the parameter update time. The range and resolution for the STIM PW is found in section 4 .4.2.1. BIT 7 (SNK) This bit enables sink STIM current to the GND rail when asserted. The SRC bit has precedence over this bit, i.e. SRC = SNK = 1 => source STIM current off VMAXx rail. This bit is set to 0 and is READ only when DCM = 0 or DCM = 1 & EN A = 0.
